Abstract

The explicit expression for the point-charge longitudinal wake function of helical undulator radiation in circular waveguide is given. The peculiarities of the helical undulator radiation and wake functions in circular waveguides are examined. For the charge distribution and discrete spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic fields the coherent part of the radiation and the beam energy modulation are studied.
